In this soliloquy, Ling zhi tells the Emperor that he has finally managed to get the power of the human race from a lowly slave to a consort ling. She tells him that she has overcome all obstacles and that the empress has been using the military power to slaughter all the foreign clans. She asks him if he would like to be her backup if he should ever need her.
