The spirit queen tells the beauty ling to listen to her command. She tells her that if she neglects her duty and co-operates with her enemies, every time she gets hurt, she will hurt the beauty in the exact same way. She also tells her to go save the lady ling, who has asked the emperor to save her. The beauty tells the emperor that she wants to stay in the harem, but the emperor refuses to allow her to do so. He says that she is an inferior slave, and that she should not have the right or the ability to enter harems at will. She says that they have spent much of their energy on their own survival, because on their survival, where did they steal these things. She asks the emperor if he thinks that lingzhi will still be a good friend to him.
