The spirit queen tells the empress how ridiculous it is that a woman like her dreams to be a member of the upper class. She tells the princess that she can still be a prime minister even though her blood does not allow her to ascend to the throne. The empress tells her that in the past, all the rulers of the clan failed to stop the exploitation of the black-viper poison. The only reasonable explanation for this is that the highness of the spirit queen's highness made her the most powerful person in the human race. She explains that after seeing the poison, all of the past rulers agreed that the poison could help the humans slaughter the foreign tribes and conquer the whole world. They had to compromise their peace of the humans to do so. The worst thing in the world is neither war nor natural disasters, she says. She asks the princess to bring her with her to check out the black viper's sources. She says that she knows the grudges between the two of them and that she has plenty of tricks up her sleeve to make the princess suffer. She begs the princess not to forget her.
