In this chapter, the spirit queen tells us that the emperor is attacking the gate of the palace, and that he has sent his army to fight against the phantom clan outside the city. The spirit queen is determined to kill the emperor and his army. She sends a message to the emperor that his army has entered their range of ambush. The reason why she did not ally herself with the emperor, she says, is because she failed to figure out six years ago how to use her second trump card, which is the demon queen, to help her. The next time the emperor tries to kill him, she will show him her trump card in the hole.
