At the beginning of the next turn, we are introduced to a new character named "Shay" . He is the first character in the novel to be introduced in this way. He asks the reader if he will be his friend. The answer is "yes" , and we are told that he will play with us in the "deepest of hell." The next question we are asked is "what do you want to do when you become god?" . Shay answers that he wants to make the world more peaceful and kind, even if it is only slightly better than it is now. He says that even if one of them becomes god, they will have to bring everyone back from the brink of death. This is a very important question, because it will determine whether or not the world will be peaceful or not. The next card Shay takes is a card from Kiyoshirou Usiter, and he says that he is counting on him to take it. He tells us that he took the five hearts and the ex-cited card, but he wishes that he had taken the excitement card instead. The excitement card is a five-card set, and Shay has a 50 percent chance of winning the card. Next turn, Shay asks if he could bring his own self back to life if he were to become god. He replies that he does not want to live in a world where some lives are more important than others. He adds that he would kill Shay the next time he encounters him.
