Back at the beginning of the chapter, we're introduced to a new character, who we'll call "Ami." Ami's name is Hiroyuki, and she's the daughter of a guy named Tenjin bashi. We learn that Tenjin's uncle, Tenjin-bashi's father, is in the middle of a conversation with a friend who's trying to figure out what's going on in the world. Ami asks who this guy is, and the guy says that it's his uncle, Masaru-Tenjin-Basu's cousin, who is trying to find out the truth about what happened in the previous chapter. We're also told that this is the first time anyone's ever heard of tenjin-basu, and that he's a god all over the world, even though he doesn't exist in the real world. Okay, now that we've learned that, we can get to the point: Ami wants to know if there's any way to stop the evil that's about to happen in the next chapter of the book, which is called "Portrait of Hell." She's also worried about what will happen to ikuko in the final chapter, since he'll be the last of the gods' children.
