This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 57: JUST A NOTE TO TELL YOU, AKASHI-SAN...
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a note from Toroi to Akashi, in which he confesses his love for her. He tells her that he has won the lottery, and that he is going to keep winning. He asks her to wait until they are both dead so that he can tell her what he has done. She tells him that she will tell him what she has done, but that she has not yet told him what is going on in another part of the universe. Toroi asks her what she is talking about, and she replies that she is not talking about the afterlife, but about human beings. She asks him what he is doing, and he replies that he was doing a recycling operation to help an old man in his neighborhood who had trouble walking. He says that he only missed school to help the old man because he was helping him in the fields. She says that she does not think that any of the people in the neighborhood want to be rescued by him. She then asks him if he thinks that they are fighting because they want to fight. He replies that if he does not play the game, he will die. He then says that his dream did not come true, but he is sure that he will be okay.
