The chapter opens with a description of the five demons that have been defeated by the team. The narrator tells us that they're all gone, and that the remaining four are still alive. The two of them decide to take a break from the fight and eat a bean. They're not sure how long they'll be able to keep running, so they decide to eat the bean and then go back to the fight. They run off together, and the narrator says that he's sorry that she's so cute, but he'll never forgive her if she does the same thing again. He says that the team has killed all the remaining demons, and now they can go home. He's happy that the fight is over, and he can't believe that they haven't been able to get home yet.
