This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 115: CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR LIVES
About This Chapter
There are two rules for the game of tanu--key "big and live" . The first rule says that if you have enough keys to win the game, you'll either win or die. The second rule says, "Consequences of their lives" , which means that if someone wins the game and dies, that person's prize will be the one that won't be won by the person who won the game. So, if you've got enough keys, you can win or lose the game . But if someone else wins or dies, the prize will go to the person with the most keys. This is the first time we've seen that the game is not over until someone dies, and that's what we find out in this chapter. We find out that the first rule is that you have to bring all of your keys with you, or someone else will win. If you bring only one key, then that person will get the grand prize, and if you bring two or more, then they'll get the same prize. So the game will go on until someone gets the prize, or they both die, and so on, until they all die. And then, if they both get the prize and die, then the prize goes to the one who got the prize first, and the prize is the one with the fewest keys. And so on and so forth, until, finally, someone dies. This chapter ends with the famous line, "It's corn then everyone lives, right ?" . What if you had died, you might ask, but what if it saved everyone else? Well, if it saves everyone else, then it
