Hiroshi, the sand collector, and his men are overjoyed to find that they have won the sand collecting contest. Hiroshi tells them that the signal he received was a sign of his love, and that he would have done the same thing if one of them had messed up. He also tells the men that he will teach them the meaning of Mizaru so that they do not make a fool of themselves. The sand collecting exam is over, and the narrator notes that something is happening inside all the cubes. Someone has taken over the airwaves, and is broadcasting live footage from inside all of the cubes on Japanese television. The narrator wonders why Hiroshi should hurry to find out the identities of the people who have survived the battle. The crowd is going wild, and Hiroshi's son has appeared. He has gone outside, and when Hiroshi returns, he has gone. He is gone, and no one knows what is wrong with him.
