As the battle continues, Gu points out that he is stronger than ever. He says that if he were to fight with his master, he would kill him. He compares himself to a water dragon, a metal snake, an earth turtle, a fire serpent, and an idiot. He tells Gu that he has learned one thing from this fight: never pin your hope on others. Gu tells him that he will find the answer to this question by looking at himself and comparing himself to the other taoists. He asks if Gu is the kind man his sister looks like because of the "super demon" in his body. Gu asks if he thinks he is strong enough to fight.
