In this chapter, we learn that Shmoop is still alive, and that he's in charge of the undead. He's got a plan for how to help the undead, and it's not going to involve killing them all at once. He just needs to figure out how to get the undead to wake up so he can kill them all. Shmo, who's still a human, is all, "what the heck is going on here?" He wants to know what the heck the undead are up to, and he wants to be able to help them. He wants a way to get rid of the evil spirit in the undead's body, so Shmo can kill the undead himself. He doesn't know how to do that, but Shmo has a plan: he'll use a magic bullet to destroy the evil ghost in the body, and Shmo will use the same magic bullet that Shmo used on the undead in the first chapter to kill the spirit in Shmo's own body. He also wants Shmo to tell Shmo that there's another undead in this castle, just like the one Shmo killed in the previous chapter, and they can't destroy it either. He tells Shmo not to worry about that, because Shmo is a participator, too, and can use the magic bullet on Shmo if Shmo wants. He says Shmo should grab a crack magic tool, because it'll make Shmo feel better about killing the undead with the crack magic weapon.
