The city hall is still standing, but the barrier around it has been broken. The ice tortoise is still alive, and the city hall has not been destroyed. The two men discuss the possibility of going back to the mountain to protect it. The man says that he would have killed the ice tortoise if he had the strength to do so, but he realizes that he is too weak to take on the monster. He asks the man to come and look at the monster, or his needles will not fit in his skin. He tells the man that if he hadn't held the monster off by himself, all the other demons would have been dead already. He says that the only way to stop the monster is to use the demonic tools that he has, and that's what he's done.
