The next day, the two women meet again. This time, the old woman tells the young woman that she's going to kill him. The young woman is shocked and says that she doesn't want to kill her just because she stepped out of the competition. The old woman says that her son has " guts" for killing her son. The two women discuss the fact that they're going to have to get along for the rest of their lives, because she'll be dead for a long time.
