In this chapter, Desdemona and the others discuss the events of the previous chapter. They discuss how they were able to summon the Mother Tree, and how the clown was able to do so. They also discuss the possibility of a miracle occurring in this chapter. The clown was ostracized and executed for his part in the plot. He was later inspired by the demon to reincarnate and become a demon.
