In this chapter, we learn that the purpose of the competition is to build a team of elite exorcs under 45 years of age. The green demonic tool has been lost, and every archmage has to guard his or her precincts. The team has to be strong enough to defeat one archmage. There are five people on the team, and they need to be able to heal, seal, summon, and so forth. The only problem with this team is that they don't have enough people to do all of these tasks. They need to have three kinds of skills: healing, sealing, and summoning. The other problem is that the team doesn't know how to pray in this environment. It's weird, they say, because they're not used to praying in this kind of environment. They're worried that they'll burn too much energy praying in such an environment
