In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Sun-Sidao. He is a young man who has just returned from a battle in which he was wounded. He tells his friend that he has made up his mind to fight and that he wants to fight with his friends. He asks his friend if he would like to join him in the fight. The young man replies that he does not want to fight because he is afraid that his friends will kill him. The two men begin to fight, and the young man says that he would rather die than fight with the others. He says that if they fight, he will kill them all.
