In this short scene, Zhengzhou demonstrates his ability to manipulate his soul. He explains that he has never been married, and that his father has only recently begun teaching him how to do so. Zhengzhou's bubble is like the stomach acid of the ancient demon, which is used to digest the souls of those who are trapped in it. He says that he can control all sorts of liquid, including water, and he can get rid of the old demon by going inside. He thinks that they will be the next meal for the demon if they cannot get out of the bubble. He realizes that he cannot just stay in the bubble and wait for his death. He decides to go back to the body of his advanced soul and eat the fruit of the dead body.
