In this chapter, we learn that the five elements are much more powerful than our own spiritual powers, and that the raw materials that we need to create our own magic are on the way out. We learn that this is because of the fact that the female form of the Five Elements is so strong that she can't be defeated by any of the other Four Elements. This is because, as the narrator points out, "the raw materials" of the Four Elements are already gone. The Four Elements, he says, are "on their way out" . The female form is killing us, he tells us, because she's so strong. He compares her to a girl who's flying in the air, and says, "let's get rid of this girl." He tells us that he's not worried about his own health, because he has a "well-balanced spirit" , but that his body isn't strong enough to keep up with her. He says that, since the beginning of their fight, the female spirit has never attacked the male form. This means that, as a result, the male spirit has no chance to defend himself. He also points out that hongzu and the ice blue form will protect the human race for generations. The narrator says that he hopes that the Five Element's power will last for at least three more years.
