In this chapter, we learn that the new archmage, chengfeng, has been hired by the Emeralds to work for them. We learn that he is also a super demon, and that he has killed five people in the process. We also learn that there are high-level demons, like the queen of vampires, who are able to control their own territories. The chapter ends with a discussion of ancient demons and their alliance.
