In this chapter, we learn that Lin Xue Lu has been kidnapped by Cong Gang and taken to Fort William, where he awaits his father's return. When he arrives at the hotel, he is surprised to find that his son has been taken away by the Cong Gang. He is also shocked to learn that the gang has tricked him into believing that he is safe at Fort William and that he will soon be reunited with his son. He asks his wife to take a bath with him, but she refuses to do so, saying that she is concerned for her husband's safety. She then asks him to check on his wound, but he refuses, saying he only wants to hug her.
