When Ling Ling wakes up, she finds that her father has gone to bed. She begs him to open the door so that Ling Ling can come in and see her father. Ling Ling tries to comfort her father by saying that their baby-making plans have just begun, and that the only thing she can do now is to get pregnant with Ling Ling's child. She tells him to go and find Ling Ling, who wants to have a baby with her, and then they can make a baby together. She then tells him that it has been a while since he has dealt with the problem of unsuitable children in the house, and Ling Ling says that he has not yet dealt with it yet. He then tells Ling Ling that she is the one who has been left behind, and he says that it is now 5 years since he left the house. He tells her that he does not care, but that his heart is hurting right now.
