In this short scene, Ling tells the captain that she has never had a mental illness. The captain tells her that if she is proven to have such a condition, she will be able to get away with the crime. Ling says that if cong gang had testified against her in the past, then he should be allowed to testify again against her. The second young master is worried about how to protect the estate. Cong gang can come and go anywhere he likes. He says that they need to strengthen their security system. The young master says that he just spent a lot of money on getting out of prison and that if he gets into trouble with Cong gang now, he will be arrested again. He wants to borrow a device that can catch Cong gang. He asks the young master if he thinks he will believe him. He promises to have his people deliver the device to the estate in three days
