The doctor tells Lan that his brother's health is failing and he needs a goal to aim for in order to live. Lan explains that he has figured out the ivf method and wants to let his brother have a child. He tells his brother that if he wants to have his child, he should let him have the child. Lan says that he's been trying to have a baby with his wife for a long time, and she'll give birth to the child that Lan believes is his. Lan tells him that he needs to consider having the baby, because he'll soon become his wife. He explains that if Lan knew the child was his, she would try to kill it. Lan admits that he was against the manipulation from the start, but he was pregnant already, so he felt sorry for him. He says that if she knew the baby was hers, she wouldn't want Lan to kill her child either. Lan then explains that she has two fathers, one big one and one small one. She says that she's already had a foster father, so she can call him "big papa" and "aunt mommy" .
