When Lin learns that her father is divorcing his brother, she is devastated. She has been waiting for him for so long that she almost turned against her father's family. Lin tells her mother-in-law that she will not let her brother bully her anymore. Lin also tells her that he ate so much that he vomited, not because he hated her, but because she threw him out of his house. Lin says that he will not allow her to bully her again, unless she shows her the box that Lin gave her when they first met. Lin asks her to explain why everyone always praises her father, and she says that she does not want to see the divorce certificate yet. Lin then tells her to tell butler Ming to get the certificate for her later, as he has already gone out with another woman. Lin explains that Lin wants a divorce so she is just warning her. Lin goes on to say that someone has been scamming her place, and that she is going to meet him and get some money.
