In this short scene, Lan says that her brother has fallen asleep and that he loves her very much. He tells her that she is his mother and that his brother does not want her to be without him. He says that when he was in an accident, his brother looked all around the place to find Lan and save her. Lan tells him that she will remember that incident and that if anything should happen to her in the future, she will protect her family even if she has to sacrifice her own life. She says that she thought that she would never love him again, but that he is indeed a thief and that she has stolen his heart. She promises to do everything in her power to save her brother.
