When the young master arrives, he tells the young woman that he has brought her dinner and that she can eat whatever she wants. The young woman refuses to eat the food, and the young man tells her that he is there to serve her dinner. He tells her to sit down and be reasonable, because he promised to follow his terms. He asks her if she ate all of her leftover dessert the night before, and she tells him that she did. He says that he ate the dessert in front of his aunt, and that if he does not let her see him, he will go to court and ask for divorce. She says that she is afraid that her uncle will tie her up and bring her back to the house, but as long as she is alive, she cant force her to be a member of the family. If she can, she will turn into a ghost of her family.
