The chapter opens with a description of the room in which Ren is being held captive. Ren is locked in the room by the old master, who has passed away. Since Ren's death, only Ren has the key to the room. Ren begs to be let out, but is told that he must stay in school. He asks if they should get a locksmith or call the police, but she tells him to wait for Ren to return. She tells him that she has calculated her pregnancy cycle, and that she might be pregnant again. She says that she will go get a locket and break the door, but that she should not go to talk to the eldest young master. She then tells Ren that he should wait for her to come back, and then she should go to get the locksmith to open the door
