Lin Ling is still in critical condition. He is not even twenty-one years old yet. He blames himself for the accident. He says that if it had not been for Lin's intervention, he would have died. Lin Ling tells his brother that he will never forgive him again. He tells him that he has forgiven him many times, but that he cannot put his family in danger. He asks Lin Ling to tell him what has happened. He wants to know how Lin Ling caused the accident and ended up in the police station. Lan Ling tells him how he came to see him alone. He then asks how he could have covered for Lin Ling when Lin Ling tried to murder him. He realizes that Lin Ling still wants to protect Lin Ling. He decides to take Lin Ling home.
