When the gold body is removed, the demon-slayer realizes that he has been abandoned by the gods, despised by humans, coveted by the demon, and cursed by destiny. The gold body, he says, is the only thing that can stop him from killing the demon. The only thing he can do is destroy the soul of the man who has been cursed with destiny. He says that he will shatter the soul's body with his power. He promises to beat the man's prediction with his speed. He will end his miracle. Everybody will surrender to "a real overlord," he says. This is the last time he will use his power, and he promises to leave the man in his "tragic past" as a reward.
