In this chapter, we learn that Caius isn't really a bad guy after all. He's just trying to protect xiaoxi from the evil spirit. Caius tries to convince himself that he's a good guy, but he can't resist the temptation. He tells Caius that he doesn't care what Caius thinks of him, because Caius is a good person. He just wants to help Caius get rid of this evil spirit that's been haunting her.
