The girls discuss the fact that the lighting girl, who is supposed to be in the play, has not come to class. The girls wonder if she might still show up, but the girl assures them that she will not. She also tells the girls that she used to be a bullied girl in middle school, so she knows what it's like to be bullied. She tells them that there's only one person who can help them, and that's the theater club. They agree that they'll be friends and that they will be able to talk to each other without being teased. They also agree that everyone compares them to one another, and they realize that they are ugly just like each other.
