When the play ends, Hirokazu asks the young man about the final scene. He tells him that his manager and Fujihara are both angry at him, but that he is fine. The young man says that after the scene, he was struck by his and lack of talent, even though he wanted to die. He feels that he has all the talent in the world, but he does not feel like he wants to be like his co-star.
