About This Chapter
Now that she's found her next victim, it's time for her to find a new target. The narrator tells us that he's going to take a tour of the school where he and Katheryn used to go together. He's sorry that Amagasaki threatened him, but he doesn't want to go to the police station. He wants to show the school's gym, which is used for sports and physical education classes. He tells the narrator that he once saw the girl reading lines in the gym with her face on. He remembers trying to stop her from doing so, but she ran away and bullied him. He says that she never showed her talent to anyone. She was always alone, so she didn't have to stand out like a normal person would. She just wanted the narrator's face for a short period of time, but the narrator thinks that's because she wanted her own face. He also tells the story of how they were still friends back then, even though they never knew each other's true identities. He asks the narrator to co-operate with him to find the girl.
