In this chapter, we learn that Asamizo has cut off contact with one of her clients, a man who was waiting for her at a hotel. The two of them have been rehearsing a play together, and suddenly one of the actors brings out a cake, which makes the whole thing even more mean. As Amizo wonders why she does not talk about her past or her life, and the actor assures her that it's because she's so nice that she attracts people like that. She asks the man if he thinks she can get away, and he says he'll go to the nearest police station and call them.
