About This Chapter
Back in the courtyard, the girls discuss the events of the previous day. They've been watching a drone zoom in on them from afar, and they need to huddle together to figure out how they're going to defeat the second-year team. They don't know how to do it, but they've all gotten along so well at school that they feel like they can trust each other. The girls wonder if there's any way that they'll ever be able to work together, since they haven't been friends for so long. They all agree that the school has accepted their relationship, but the girls still feel that they have to fight against each other to do so. When the girls see the boys running away, they realize that the girls are totally surrounded by the boys. They think that the boys are using Scott as a jumping-off point to get away from the girls. They feel bad for the girls because they know that if they lose, they won't be as strong as the first-year girls.
