Act 87 opens with a soliloquy by Persia. She tells the audience that she is disgusted by the way in which Hiromi and Juliet have treated her. She accuses them of lying to her and of using her as a pawn in their scheme to get rid of Hiromi. She also tells them that she has no sympathy for them and that they should just leave her alone.
