The cat is in the infirmary when he hears that the alarm has gone off for the school festival and that his alarm is going off again. He apologizes to the nurse for touching her without warning, but she tells him that he is too old to like being "babied" like that. He tells her that if she likes him, there is nothing he can do to stop it. He asks her to tell her sister not to touch him again, and she says that she will do so. He says that he would have known that she was teasing him if he had not said the things he has said. He is afraid that she is going to give him a sudden shower, so he runs away. The cat tells the nurse that he has an intruder on stage, and that he will have a whole show with his charms. He goes on to say that he plans to go find her and fix the problem. He also says that they will get the problem fixed.
