When Persia calls to say that she has returned, she is surprised to find out that the two of them have been out for a walk. When she realizes that they have not been allowed to go out, she curses her for acting so rudely. When the phone is cut out, Persia realizes that it is in fact her son, inuzuka, who has been out with his friend Julio. She is shocked to learn that Julio is a middle-school student and that he is handsome and fair-skinned. She asks Julio if he would like to go with her to the park with her. Julio tells her that he would rather be alone with her than with his friends. He says that they will talk about their dumbness and short-temperedness, and they will have a scary look on their faces. She says that she would never have said such things to her own son, and that being in love can be very painful and frightening. She tells her friend that she wants to read Persia's diary, but there is an entry that says, "Please never forget us," and she interprets it as permission to read it.
