At the end of the school day, the students return from their classes. As they walk back to their dorms, they see a shadowy figure in the distance. It's Char, and she's trying to sneak out of school. She's been trying to do this for a while now, and the only way she can do it is to hide in the bushes outside the school. The students are worried about her, but they're not worried about the old char, because they've made it all the way to the village where Char is staying. The two of them talk about how they should split up the academy so that it's not as big as the old one, and that Char can stay in the west village and run the academy in the east village. Char's in the middle of a conversation with a student, and they whisper in each other's ear. Char asks the student if he's working. The student says that he is, and Char asks him to leave. Char tells the student to go back to her boss and tell him what's going on. The girl says that Char has been worried about him, but she doesn't want him to tell her about it. She says that her boss told her to take responsibility for running the school, and to keep the school open no matter how bad things get. Char says that she wants to give one of her employees a raise, because she'd rather give one to Char than have her boss threaten her with losing her job.
