The school festival is over, and everyone is looking for Persuazio's mom. Inuzuka comes up to him and asks him what he's going to do when he finds her, and he says he won't let him go to her because it looks like she's having a good time. In fact, he says, he doesn't believe him. He tells him that he has a room in a hotel in the town of dahlia, and that he'll tell his father about it when he gets there. He also tells him about how he fell in love with another girl at the school years ago, and she warned him about it, but he didn't tell her because he wanted to help the other girl be more extreme than she is now. He's sorry that the girl's story scared him, because he wonders what feelings she had as she courted him, and how she feels about it now that they're separated from each other. He says he hopes they can make friends and allies in the future.
