In this chapter, we learn that the only fragment of obsidian in the world is the one that Chiron has collected. Chiron explains that he has a "stone of rules" that he can use to affect the bearer of destiny. He says that he thinks it's just a coincidence that every time he collects a piece of this essence, he gets a new piece of it, but when he looks at it, he realizes that he's got a "whole stone of rules." Chiron says that if he had used all his energy to defeat Chiron, he'd have a whole new set of powers. Chiron tells us that Chiron is the "bait" of the Saint of the Weapon King sect. The Saint is one of those people who's untouchable because of his "unparalleled abilities" . Chiron reminds us that the weapons saint is destined to meet the bearers of this "stone" of rules. Chiron says he doesn't need to use lame tactics to beat the Saint. He just needs to find a way to use his powers to save the soul of the weapon saint. Chiron and Chiron kill one of the weapons saints and Chiron thanks him for letting him win this one.
