This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which the group is in the middle of a battle. The group is led by the leader of the Asura fighting tower, who is also the daughter of the tower leader. The Asura fighters have been collecting tao fruit from the dark mountain every year since the tower was founded, but in the past few years, they have stopped doing so. This is because the current leader's daughter has taken over the business. The current leader wants to use the tao fruits to cure herself of her illness, but the tower has been unable to do so for three years in a row because the members of the group have stopped collecting the fruit.
