Now that Volger is back, he's ready to go. He's still alive, he says, thanks to the ancient texture of the cave and the demon fire's violent aura. He wants to get back at Volger for locking him up, but Volger says he'll be back later. Volger wants to know why he didn't lock him up earlier. He says it's because Volger's soul is still in the cave, and he needs to do some things to get it out. He tells Volger that there are three things left on his soul: the ancient, the violent, and the puny. The only problem is that his soul is as weak as a normal person's, and if his soul gets smashed, his body will do the same thing. So, Volger and Volger start their fights now. They need to erase all of the information about Volger in the bird palace, and then they need to start using the weapon he has refitted for them. He asks Volger if he likes the causality system, and says that life is cruel, so he has to be cruel.
