In this chapter, we get a brief glimpse into the mind of Balthazar, who is trying to figure out what's going on. He's not sure what to make of the noise that's coming from the other side of the room, but he's pretty sure that it's a knock-down knock-out from the wrestling ring. He can't figure out why anyone would be so excited about a wrestling ring, and he'd be even more excited if it were a super-human fighting machine. He also has no idea why the other guys are so excited. He doesn't know why they're so excited, either. He just wants to know what the heck is going on, and what the commotion is all about. The wrestling ring is full of noise, he says, and it seems to be the ringmaster, who's been making a lot of noise in the background. The ringmaster is all, "dude, you're not a real man, and I'm not going to let you beat me with a punch." He'd rather punch a girl than fight a guy.
