In this chapter, we get a brief description of the battle between the two groups of warriors. The first group of warriors is led by a young boy, who is playing with insects. The boy is carrying a dangerous item, which he intends to dispose of. The second group of fighters, led by the old man, is led in a different direction. The old man tells the boy that he and the young man have the same goal: to get out of the well. The two men agree to fight each other, even if it means risking their lives.
