In this chapter, the protagonist explains how he came to be in the position he is in. He was taken away from his dying girlfriend by a man who told him to prepare to lose his life if he wanted her back. When he found the man, the man told him that he should prepare to die if the protagonist wanted to get back his girlfriend. The protagonist decides to start his journey fearlessly. He tells the protagonist that he is confused sometimes, but that things are moving in the right direction. He asks the protagonist to listen to his strategy. The three saint realm cultivators cannot tie with him. He says that if not for the protagonist, he would have been killed three times during the battle. He reminds the protagonist of the story of the three saints who sacrificed a large amount of bait in order to fight the enemy.
