This is just the tip of the iceberg, we're told. We're also told that xiao's son is a junior and wants to go to a major university, but his parents won't let him go because they don't want him to be a "trapper," which means he'll have to go live at a low-paying school for a few days before he can go on to a big university. The only thing that's keeping him from going on to the big university is the fact that both his parents are unreliable about social affairs, so he's going to have to stay at home and wait for his parents to tell him that they're going to send him off to the university.
