The guards in the garage are there to guard Bestler's property. They're there to protect him from the monsters lurking in the darkness. He's got a special car with black magic crystals in it, and he's going to have to use them to get to his target. He doesn't want them to stain his car, though, because they're the same monsters that attacked his car in the game. They need to get some magic crystals before dawn so they can get to the target before dawn. But first, they need to knock out some of the common monsters before they set off. That way, they'll be able to get the magic crystals they need in time to meet their target. But before they can do that, they have to kill some more common monsters. They can't just wait for nightfall to get their magic crystals. They have to get one more before dawn to make it to their target before dark. But that's not going to be easy, because there are still some common monsters out there. So they've got to hurry up and kill some of them before dawn, otherwise they won't have enough time to get another one. But then again, it's his fault that he didn't kill her first time around. He should trust the guys to come back and rescue him again.
