The next morning, Viola arrives at the apartment to find that the rehearsal for the Orchestre Franaise has been canceled. She asks her friend, who is an exchange student named Nissan, to come and play the violin for her. The exchange student, however, does not want to go because the concertmaster has canceled the performance.
